Dog Portraits are a Good Idea

I had the honor of photographing JoAnn and her three dogs recently. She hired me as a bit of a last hoorah for two of her pups too that are in their golden ears. If you know me, you know I am a crazy dog lady and have a soft spot for old doggos.

We met at Shelvin Park on the NW side of Bend on a cold, but sunny afternoon. There was some snow on the ground, but not too much that we had a hard time getting around.

One thing I love about living in Bend is that everyone has a dog. If you don’t have a dog, who are you?! My boy Razi is 7 and I can’t imagine life without him. Our pets become our family, experiencing with us the good times and the bad. If you are anything like me, your iPhone storage keeps maxing out with the thousands of photos taken of your dog. It’s so hard to delete them, isn’t it?!

You might feel a little silly hiring a professional photographer to take photos of your dogs. But the time and money is totally worth it to have frame-worthy photos of you and your dogs during their limited time on earth. With spring around the corner (thank goodness!), now is a great time to book a pet photography session.
